Let's Get Sheet-faced
For this cute card, I followed these steps from a pinterest pin.
1 Cut a rectangle of white card stock to 4¼ x 5½ inches
2 Cut a strip of white card stock to 1 x 8¾ inches
3 Score that thin strip on the long side at ¼ - 2¼ - 6½ - 8½
4 Glue two ¼ inch tabs to the bottom rear of the card panel
5 Cut two more strips of white card stock to 1 x 4¾
6 Score both of those strips at ¼ - 4½
7 Glue the ¼ inch tabs to the inside of the previously glued strip, spacing evenly
NB. Burnish all score lines well
To decorate I used:
Polkadoodles patterned paper, Frank, Gloria and Ghost, sentiment.
I coloured the digi stamps with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend alcohol markers from Crafters Companion.
The following pens used:
Purple Blend
Green Turquoise Blend
Ice Grey Blend
True Blue Shades
Coral Shades
Gelly Roll White no.8
Gelly Roll black glaze pen for the eyes
I attatched the digi stamps to the card strips by glueing a thin tab of cardstock to the back of the image and the strips.
This card when flat will need a larger envelope as the dimensions are 6¼ x 5½
Thanks so much for looking and I hope you give this one a try. Please post your creations in the Polkadoodles Facebook Group. We’d love to see your makes.

Love From Lizi - A Touch of Autumn Septemeber 2023 Card Making Kit
Love From Lizi’s card making kit for September is absolutely gorgeous. I have been a tad busy this month so my video is a little late. Well, it’s a lot late lol.
I should be receiving October’s kit any day now, so I will pull up my big girl panties, and get my ducks in a row to make sure I post my next video in a timely manner.
In the meantime please enjoy September's video and it’s my wish that you’re inspired to make cards similar, buy the kit, or just have fun playing with your existing stash.
I made some really lovely cards that I will enjoy. Some of the not so favourites I will probably give to charity.
Thanks so much for taking a peak today.

Pump Up Your Pumpkins
Hey there crafters!!
It’s time to pump up your pumpkins :D
It’s an absolute pleasure to bring you this gorgeous 8x8 inch card I made using a variety of Polkadoodles digital products.
Digital means inexpensive ways to download, keep, and use as often as you wish. Without taking up space in your crafty haven.
How I made this card…
1. I uploaded the Wheelbarrow Gnome digi stamp, and sentiment into Canva. I played around with the sizing, to make sure the gnome image was manageable to colour and die cut.
2. I printed off the Gnome, and the digital papers I wanted to use from the fall themed patterned papers, and textured solid colours. Ironically called Plain Jane (haha that’s me).
I love them all, especially the textures. I hope you can see from the close-up photos just how detailed they print.
3. I used a large oval cutting die to cut out the gnome, then coloured using my Tri-Blend alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir.
4. I cut a mat from the blue textured paper for the oval using the next size up in my nested oval dies.
5. I cut a mat for my card base at 7 ¾ inches square using the same blue textured paper.
6. I cut two of the patterned papers to 7 1/2” square, then cut each piece in half to 3 ¾” and adhered to the textured mat. Then used a ¾” x 7 ½” strip to lay horizontally to hide the seam of the joining patterned papers.
7. I popped up the ovals using 1mm foam tape, added the sentiment and some sequins to finish off the card.
Thanks so much for looking today. I really hope you’ll check out my YouTube video, comment, like and subscribe.

Creepin' It Real
Creepin’ It Real
Hi and welcome back. This is my 2nd DT Project for Polkadoodles and the challenge set was Halloween Shapes, where we have to make a halloween shaped card.
I chose a pumpkin, mainly because there is a preset design in Brother Scan and Cut of a pumpkin. Easy right?
Don't have an electronic cutting machine? Don't worry, I've got you covered.
Access a pre designed template to print and cut via PDF (free to use).
I cut 3 white 300gsm pumpkin shapes, and used 2 of them by scoring one at roughly half inch then sticking together with another shape to create my card base.
I cut another pumpkin at the same size, but in black card stock.
The Distress Oxide colours I used to ink blend the 3rd pumpkin are:-
Fossilized Amber
Lumberjack Plaid
Wild Honey
Ripe Persimmon
Using Canva, I uploaded the wheelbarrow gnome, Frank and Gloria png. files and arranged them so they're masked and standing in a line. I was able to resize them to fit my card that would fit a 6x6 inch envelope.
I coloured the images using Spectrum Noir Triblend and brush Triblends in the following colours:-
Alpine Green Blend AG 1-3-5
Hydrangea Blend NB 1-2-3
Ice Grey Blend IG 2-7-10
Blue Turquoise Blend BT 2-5-9
Fair Skin Blend FS 6-7-8
Earth Brown Blend EB 1-4-7
Orange Blend OR 1-2-3
Dark Red Blend DR 1-4-7
The 'Creepin It Real' sentiment was coloured with orange blend and I used a GellyRoll no. 10 and a black glaze pen for added highlight and definition then matted on the same green card stock as the pumpkin top.
A really fun project that I hope you’ll try.

The Brick on sale
Prepare for a heavy landing on your doorstep!!
Halloween Incoming
Halloween Incoming!!
I absolutely adore these gothic images from Creative Crafting World and I think the kit is perfect for Halloween and any occasion. Perfect for an anniversary or birthday close to Halloween season.
And, because this is a paper kit, you can use anything you like to fancy up your projects. I used some CCW designs die sets and made this 8x8 card, a little touch of paper piecing with some gold mirror card to make those hearts pop!!
You can keep the monotone design or add colours to give your projects the WOW factor.
Be kind to each other.

ScaryGloria
Hi there and thanks for taking a peek today.
I have my first DT projects for you and they're spooktacular... let me know if the puns are a little dated and annoying lol. This gorgeous and sassy lass has eyelashes to die for and I need them in my life. This is ScaryGloria and I love her. She is part of the Monsters Download collection and there are a whole host of different digi's that complement her. I also used Trick or Treat printable papers for the background. I printed her on 300gsm watercolour cardstock, then I used dye inks to watercolour her. The ink pads in particular are Catherine Pooler inks in the following colours:
Flirty Fuschia, Something Borrowed, Aquatini, Pixie Dust, Buttercream, Spiced.
Let's Be Frank ;)
So, this is my first DT project for Polkadoodles designs and I couldn’t be happier to be part of the team. This first card I used my Scan and Cut to cut out 3 scallop circles that measure 5.8” in diameter each, I used some white heavy pearlescent card, you can use what you wish. If you don’t have an electronic cutting machine, just die cut 3 circles. I then cut another two more scallop circles in black card stock at 5.7” to give a tiny but noticeable border around the outside. I mat the two black circles onto two of the pearlescent circles. Next I cut two 5” plain circles from patterned papers and adhered to the two black circles. I have one pearlescent scallop circle left and this I scored at ¾” and 2.5” then burnished a mountain and a valley fold. To create the easel, you need to match up the scallops then valley fold the centre score line. Pay particular attention to where you put your adhesive, because, one false move, and your card won’t be affective. Top tip!! Make sure your score lines are burnished really well, so that your card stands up nicely. Top tip!! If you’re using directional patterned paper, pay attention to how your card looks standing up and finished. I used – digi stamps and coloured using my Spectrum Noir markers. I have the Tri-blends and the brush Tri-blends and used a mixture of the two. The colours I used are as follows: Purple blend – PL, PL3, PL2 Alpine green blend – AG5, AG3, AG1 Orange blend – OR3, OR2, OR1 Brown grey blend – BG9, BG6, BG2 Ice grey blend – IG10, IG7, IG2 Dark red blend – DR7, DR4, DR1 Earth brown blend – EB7, EB4, EB1 Fair skin blend – FS8, FS7, FS6 I also used a touch of coloured pencil for more definition, and Gelly Roll no.10 for highlights. I used the ‘EEK’ sentiment and the ‘Pump Up Your Pumpkins’ sentiment mat on pink, purple and black card stock with thin borders to help those sentiments to pop off the card. I fussy cut the cauldron, ghost, bat and – for added decoration. Thanks for reading and I hope you give this one a try and share with us. Be kind to each other… Jane xoxo
